What you will see

The road climbs from the rice fields into the forest. Up here it is cooler, greener and much quieter.

Jatiluwih rice terraces
Some of the widest rice terraces on Bali, part of the subak landscape that is listed as UNESCO World Heritage. Walking trails lead through the fields.
Ulun Danu Beratan
The temple that seems to float on Lake Beratan, with the mountains behind it. Often in the morning mist, which makes it even more beautiful.
Twin lakes viewpoint
A view over Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan, two crater lakes surrounded by forest.
Munduk waterfalls
Several waterfalls hidden in the forest around the village of Munduk, reached by short jungle walks.
Gitgit waterfall
A tall waterfall in the jungle on the road down to the north coast.
Bedugul market
A local market with fruit, vegetables, spices and flowers from the highlands.

An example. It is a long drive, so Ernest suggests staying overnight in Munduk or Lovina and combining this tour with the dolphins.
