Have a list of places in mind? Send it to Ernest. He knows how long the drives take and when each place is quiet, so he puts your stops in the best order.
A few examples of what he takes into account:
- Rice terraces and popular temples are calmer early in the morning, before the tour buses arrive.
- Traffic around Ubud, Canggu and Kuta is heaviest in the late afternoon.
- Sunrise trips to Mount Batur or Lempuyang start in the middle of the night, so they are best planned as a separate day.
- Lovina and Amed are about three hours from the south. A night there makes the day more relaxed.
